Bob Etris Featured in Adam Mendler Article on Redesigning Work for AI

Bob Etris, Managing Partner of Evans Incorporated, was featured in Adam Mendler’s latest article, “How to Redesign Work For AI,” alongside leaders from Brevo, Templafy, Scotiabank, and other organizations. The piece asks executives how companies should rethink roles, workflows, and decision-making as AI reshapes what work looks like.

Etris pointed to leadership mindset as the starting point. Too many organizations treat AI as an IT initiative, he said, when it actually calls for rewriting daily workflows, roles, and legacy processes. He emphasized that the real payoff comes from human augmentation, not just automation: AI should help people make better decisions and free up time for higher-value work. Organizations making the most progress, he noted, invest in continuous education just as they do in new tools, building a culture where experimentation and questions are welcome.

Mendler is a nationally recognized authority on leadership and the creator and host of Thirty Minute Mentors, where he interviews top CEOs, founders, athletes, and political and military leaders. He teaches graduate-level leadership courses at UCLA and speaks and advises organizations on leadership and workforce strategy.
