Jack Moore
Managing Partner

Jack Moore has spent nearly 30 years helping organizations figure out why they’re stuck — and then actually do something about it. At Evans, a federal technology implementation partner in the DC area, his focus is less on the org chart and more on the people inside it. His greatest impact comes from unlocking potential in others, equipping leaders to turn analytical insights into measurable, lasting change.
He’ll be the first to tell you his brain doesn’t work like most people’s. His ADHD makes it hard to sit through a meeting about a meeting, but it also means he spots patterns others miss. He’s learned to treat that as a feature. That same mindset fuels his podcast, Progress Over Perfection, where he explores how leaders build momentum without waiting for everything to be exactly right.
Three decades of government and commercial work have sharpened his approach: rigorous analysis meets creative vision. His economics and MBA training from Duke grounds his strategic thinking, while Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP certifications give him the framework to scale validated solutions across organizations.
At home in Fairfax, he shares life with his wife Debbie, CFO at Legal Services Corporation. His daughter Meredith recently earned her MS in Business/Branding from VCU’s Brandcenter and is launching her career as a Product Designer at Udig. His son Bryson just finished his junior year studying business and playing baseball at Florida State University.
Jack’s leadership philosophy:
“The best leaders are like mirrors: they reflect the best in their team members, kindly show them where they can improve, and then step aside to let them shine.”
