Evans Managing Partner Jack Moore Appointed to NVTC Board of Directors

Appointment builds on Evans’ growing role in Northern Virginia’s technology community

Evans Inc., a federal technology implementation partner, announced that Managing Partner and co-owner Jack Moore has been appointed to the board of directors of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).

NVTC is the trade association for the region’s technology community. It represents roughly 500 member organizations, from startups to Fortune 100 companies, along with government contractors, universities, and nonprofits. In its 35 years, NVTC has become one of the largest and oldest tech councils in the country and a primary voice for Northern Virginia’s role as a national technology hub. According to NVTC’s 2024 Tech & Innovation Study, the region has about 376,000 tech workers, the second-most of any U.S. metro area, and tech accounts for more than 11 percent of its workforce. NVTC’s refreshed strategic plan centers on four priorities: connecting the regional ecosystem, advocating for the technology community, building a future-ready workforce, and delivering member value.

“Northern Virginia is where federal missions and the technology community meet. We’re fortunate to have an organization like NVTC bringing us together.” said Jack Moore, Managing Partner and co-owner of Evans. “Evans has been part of this community for years, and I’m glad to take on a bigger role in it. I look forward to working with the board and NVTC’s members on the region’s priorities, especially workforce development and putting AI to practical use.”

Jack’s appointment extends a relationship Evans has built with NVTC over several years. Jack previously served in NVTC’s Executive Circle, a group that offers strategic guidance to NVTC leadership. Evans also sponsors NVTC’s Mission Tech Series, a new quarterly program that connects founders, investors, government leaders, and defense innovators to speed the path from innovation to mission impact. Jesse Lambert, Evans Senior Principal and Corporate AI Lead, serves on the series’ steering committee and helps shape its programming. The inaugural event is November 10.
